We all know the Academy Awards is held every year not only to recognize but celebrate the most prestigious stars in Film. If you recently watched the 86th annual Academy Awards which aired Sunday night we would agree the house was filled with nothing but A-list stars. Surprisingly, some of our most favored actors and actress may be highly recognized in Hollywood, but you will not believe still have not snatched themselves an Oscar. Let's take a look at ten stars who can’t seem to claim the golden statuette.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air has dominated both charts in music and film. In 1997, Will Smith released the hit single “Gettin Jiggy wit It”  from his solo debut album Big Willie Style which earned him great success and a Grammy. Smith has been nominated for both his roles in “Ali” and “Pursuit of Happiness”, but still can’t seem to Get Jiggy with an Oscar.

Leonardo Dicaprio is most known for his versatility in the roles he portrays. He has earned five nominations, but not still no proclaimed Oscar. Dicaprio’s performances in films like “What’s eating Gilbert Grape”, “Titanic”, or even “Django” was impressive to many “Leo” fans but clearly not too much to the Academy.

While Johnny Depp has earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he is yet to receive an Oscar. Depp has starred in the 1990’s film “Edward Scissorhands”, “ The Tourist”, and “Alice in Wonderland”. He has been in all five of “Pirates of the Caribbean”, which earned him his first nomination in 2003, and has been a nominee for Best Actor in both leading roles for “Sweeney Todd”, and “Finding Neverland”. It seems as though Johnny can never find his way to “Oscarland”

Tom Cruise indeed would be considered a Hollywood A-list star. Cruise has been a heartthrob since his bad boy role in Risky Business. Of course we will always remember how he displayed  his love for now ex-wife Katie Holmes by jumping on Oprah's couch. Maybe that is why the Academy has not given him an Oscar, they’re too scared of what he may do.

Samuel L. Jackson has won multiple awards throughout his acting career. Needless to say he has gained so much recognition in his career and is classified as one of Hollywood’s highest paid actors. In the 1994, film Pulp Fiction earned Jackson his first and only Oscar nomination, but still zero wins. The Academy must didn’t see his role in the 2008 film “Lakeview Terrace”, he was just as good a crooked cop as award-winning actor Denzel Washington in Training Day. Sheesh!

Julianne Moore received her first nomination for best actress in a supporting role in the 1998, film “Boogie Nights”. Since then she was nominated three more times for Best Supporting Actress for her roles in “The End of the Affair”, “Far From Heaven and “The Hours”. Moore has been nominated a total of four times for best supporting actress. Unfortunately, she lost all four lets just say if there’s ever a category for hottest red hair actresses in Hollywood she has my vote!

Angela Bassett is yet another Hollywood actress who has yet to snag an Oscar. From her role as Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late King of Pop Micheal Jackson in American Dream, to  the role as historical civil rights activist Rosa Parks, and of course we can’t forget that role as Tina Turner in What’s Love got to Do with It. Without a doubt a Basset embodies every role given to her to the fullest. So will Hollywood ever take notice of her intensity?

Michelle Pfeiffer is another actress you can consider is well deserving of an Oscar.

Pfeiffer has been nominated three times for her supporting role in “Dangerous Liaisons”, and leading roles in “Fabulous Baker Boys”, and the 1992 drama film “Love Field”. Why won’t the Academy realize she’s a well overdue to win an Oscar.

I know I know, it’s a shock that actress Glenn Close has not been awarded for an academy either. Close has been acting longer than some of us have been born. She is a six-time nominee for her performances in; “Albert Nobbs”, Dangerous Liaisons”, “Fatal Attraction”, “The Natural”, “The Big Chill”, and “The World According to Garp”. She may not have won an Oscar yet, but I’m sure it’s in the the near future because I don’t see Close slowing down anytime soon. Plus can’t we all agree “Fatal Attraction” should have been a “Fatal Win”.

Let’s just say anytime you're in the same category with legendary actress Meryl Streep and critics argue that you have a good chance of winning you must be a bad Mamma Jamma. In 2008, Davis earned her first nomination for her role in “Doubt”. However, it was Davis’s 2012 nomination for her leading role in the remarkable film “The Help” that had everyone anticipating if she would snag the gold statuette. Although she didn’t take home the Oscar, we can agree she needs no “Help” in dominating any of her roles.

The hit T.V. series, The Game first premiered October 1, 2006. In the American comedy-drama the producers introduced a group of fun fictional characters that became househould names and almost our "real" friends coping with "real" situations. In the show we fell in love with two dominate couples that had fans team Melanie and Derwin or team Jason and Kelly Pitts. However, whether you routed and related more to the cute, puppy love, college sweethearts Melanie and Derwin or perhaps San Diego's powerhouse couple Kelly and Jason you adored the bond both couples shared. In season three, secerts and internal issues began to surface in both realtionships. Melanie and Derwin were off and on and Derwin discovers that his ex-girlfriend Janay is preganant with his baby. We also witnessed constant arguments between Kelly and Jason as she revealed in a counseling session her hidden motives in the beginning of the marriage and Jason's refusal to give up steroids. It was heartbreaking to watch the couples grow apart, I mean any hope for the hopeless romantics? Needless to say Melanie and Derwin reconciled but Kelly and Jason ended in divorce, daughter Brittany grew up overnight and had very few appearances just as actress Brittany Daniel, who plays Kelly Pitts. Until eventually the only "Pitts" left on the show was Jason. However, rumors have been circulating that the "sneak peek" trailer of the Lady in red that has been airing on BET is a hint to the fans that it could be the original SunBeam President, Mrs. Kelly Pitts. Singer Brandy who plays Jason's current wife "Chardonnay" uploaded the photo above of the Love Triangle and tweeted "Look who's BACK! @thegameBET #season7". Unfortuantely, we'll just have to wait till March for the seventh season to debut.

Grammy-Award Winning Singer, Icon, or perhaps you like to refer to her as Queen B. Beyonce' recently uploaded a photo on her Instagram account rocking a different yet mature hairstyle than her usual look. The singer has not yet confirmed if the change of hairstyle is for an upcoming movie role, video shoot, or personal desire for a NEW look. However, fans are all over social media expressing their opinions on Queen B's New Hairstyle. So what do you think? Should Beyonce go back to her long wavy curls that we adore or is change good??

Sources recently reported Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's modern day Bonnie and Clyde have jumped the broom. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Stevie J. and Joseline Hernandez are said to have married on an island in Pureto Rico. Fans of VH1 hit show LHHATL have been mesmerizing over these two and their relatioship since the show's first premiere in 2012 . In the first season, the couple left us wondering after each episode the "true" status of their relationship and who was the number one woman in Stevie J's life.

Now more than ever, we realize although Stevie J. and his co-star Mimi Faust share a relationship as co-parents for their daughter Eva, their is no reconciling this 15 year-old relationship. Hernandez,  also known as the "Puerto Rican Princess" has proven she is a force to be reckoned with and is going nowhere.  On June 29, 2013 Stevie J. confirmed the rumors announcing on his Twitter account that he is indeed a married man. 

    On August 4, 2013 fans from all over filled the seats at the Civic Center in Atlanta, Ga. for the TGT concert. As they waited to hear the recent singles and 90's classics from Tank, Ginuwine, and Tyrese. The fans sang along and cheered for their opening performer the soulful songtress, Fantasia Barrino.

Fantasia performed her latest single 'Without Me' which features fellow singer Kelly Rowland and female rapper Missy Elliot. She then took her fans back to the 80's by singing Shelia E's hit-single 'The Glamorous Life' and then to church.

    R&B singer Tank excited the crowd with his charm and heart-felt lyrics of 2001 single, 'Maybe I Deserve.' While Ginuwine interacted with the crowd and dedicated his 2001 Hit-Record, 'Differences' as a memorial tribute. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, Tyrese not only lured the fans with his past and present classics, but brought on stage Recording Artist, Chingy to perform the 2006 single, 'Pullin Me Back' and American Rapper, Ludacris performed the city's Hip-Hop Anthem 'Welcome to Atlanta'.

    Whitney Butler a native of Eufaula, Ala. not only attended the concert but was invited to the Meet and Greet of TGT, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. At the Meet and Greet she was able to talk and take pictures with the group.

"I really enjoyed the concert and Fantasia was amazing," said Butler. "Traveling four hours to come to this concert was worth every penny and I will always remember this day."
